• Private Access: Richard’s Lake is not open to the general public. Access is limited to Sonders residents and their guests, making it a truly exclusive experience.
• Lake Tags: Each household will receive two lake tags, which must be presented upon request. These tags are your ticket to enjoying all that Richard’s Lake has to offer.
• Event Reservations: To reserve a pavilion, submit your request to the RLOA Manager at least 30 days before your event. A damage deposit is required, ensuring that the area remains pristine for everyone to enjoy.
• Boat Storage: Boat storage space is limited, so it’s wise to secure your spot early, and a registration fee is required. Boat registration stickers must be visible and storage spots are reserved for folks who will be using their boats frequently (weekly). 

A Shared Responsibility

While Richard’s Lake offers endless opportunities for recreation, it’s important to remember that this access is a privilege. The lake is primarily a water storage facility managed by the Water Supply and Storage Company of Fort Collins. 

This means residents must be mindful of their impact on the lake and its surroundings.
